Whenever you are renovating your house or even redecorating a room, it’s always great to find new light fixtures.
Why? Lighting in the room pretty much makes the room warm and inviting. Without having the right lighting, the atmosphere can be very dull or just plain boring.
For me personally, I try to find lights that match my furniture and have a strong presence in the room. The best place to find these kinds of lights is to go to a store that sells just lights so you can see the difference.
OMG…I’m totally in love with the new colour for iPods. It’s PINK!!!! It came right in time for Valentine’s Day too, so you can easily get it for your sweetheart!! I totally want one now.
I’m so happy that Apple actually thinks about making different colours of their products. It’s great because not everyone likes the same thing. The different colours with iPod Nanos and Shuffles is just great.
I absolutely love this company for doing this and think more should follow in their footsteps…especially those companies who make laptops. It would be nice to see a variety of colours instead of black, white, or silver ALL THE TIME.
Wow…the good old days was when I was a kid. I was constantly outside enjoying time with friends while we played dress up and even wore clip on earrings.
A lot of times my neighbour and I used to have Barbie play dates on my porch and we’d bring out all the Barbie couches, cars, furniture, and of course the dolls. It was fun!!
We have so many pictures and home movies from that time. Even some photos of playing with kids whose families eventually moved before ours.
Oh the memories…
Have you ever gone to a convention or trade show where they have a bunch of trade show booths everywhere?
I love going to these!! Why? Because you get so much free goodies to take home. You don’t have to buy a lanyard, pens, buttons, paper, or other things because you can get them for FREE.
Ya okay, they may have a logo or something on there, but who cares. It was free and you can easily put it to good use.
What was the best thing you ever got from a trade show or convention?
I just bought this 3-disc dvd set for my mom the other day. She saw it on a commercial selling for $50. Of course I did the smart thing and looked on Ebay first. I ended up buying it for $25. Sweet!! Saved a bunch of money!!
And yes…it was an original and brand new. I make sure by reading all the information on the page twice and checking all the feedback the seller had which of course was all positive.
I know my mom will be ecstatic once she receives it because she’s a big Elvis fan. Not one of those crazy fans who have EVERYTHING of his, but she’s liked him since she was a kid. She is also collecting his dvds now so that’s one of the reasons why she wanted this dvd set.
When I was working in daycares a few years ago as part of my field placement, I noticed one thing.
More and more children have be diagnosed with cerebral palsy or autism. It’s really astonishing because the numbers are continuing to raise.
In the case of autism, no one knows what causes it yet. The scary thing is that the child is developing normally and then *poof*…one day it all starts reversing.
I’ve seen it over and over again on tv shows like Oprah. No one knows how it’s caused or how to prevent it from happening. Now that’s the scary part.
I hope theres a cure soon because it’s happening way too much!!
