Learning more about credit cards

I’m trying to make the most of the one credit card I have. I mean, really…I put almost everything I buy on that thing.

So I’m trying to learn more about interest rates, debt, and even 0 balance transfer offers. I want to be able to use my credit card effectively and don’t spiral down out of control.

I think I’m already heading that way since I’ve got a balance I haven’t paid off yet. Not cool at all since I’m having trouble coming up with the money, thus my need to obtain it online.

Too Many Books!

I got a bunch of new books the other day. I haven’t really had a chance to sit down and read any of them. However, I know I’ll be starting off with the “Ghosts of Ontario” book I got. It seems interesting enough, plus the stories/chapters are short.

But man…I need some more bookshelves. I have three and they are all full!! Now I had books just laying around my desk and floor. I have no room to put them. Is that sad or what??

Maybe I’ll pack some away in totes or something. I dunno what to do but I sure as heck don’t want to get rid of them.

Wii or PS3?

You know what I just realized, I barely even touch my PS2 anymore. The last game I got for it was Spyro and I beat that within a day. I love how easy the game is!!

Maybe it’s just me, but all the good games are coming out for PS3. Maybe that will be my next investment. But the problem with that is that I also want to get Wii too. Xbox is out of the question. It does not appeal to me one bit!!

So Wii or PS3?? Hum…decisions decisions…

I’m a little upset today. How come? It just seems that we won’t be going on a little vacation this year to Cuba. I was really looking forward to it, plus there are some awesome cheap flights available too.

Sadly, there’s just not enough time considering everyone in my family works, plus we have my sister’s wedding coming up. Just too much stuff in the next two months.

So ya…I’m upset about it because I dream of swimming in the ocean, that’s how much I love it!!!

I seriously need to clean out this closet I have here in my computer room. I have things such as old printers, KVM, routers, empty discs, a bunch of wires & cables, and a whole lot of other crap.

It’s really unbelievable. I can’t even find anything anymore in there. It’s so jammed pack with stuff I’ve used in the past and don’t really need anymore.

I think it’s time for me to do a garage sale or something. I need to get rid of this shit because there is so much and it’s just overwhelming.

Baby Shower Fun!

Everyone is having babies nowadays. It seems it’s just a huge baby boom all of a sudden. Celebrities, friends, family…EVERYONE!! Geeze…you’d think everyday was happy hump day or something.

But nevertheless, it’s always exciting planning a baby shower and picking out the perfect baby shower invitations. After all, you want to impress everyone with your baby bump and why not share a little hint on the baby’s gender as well.

Aww….now this is all bringing back memories from my sister’s baby shower which was amazing!! Check out some of the photos below. Btw…the baby shower was back in August of 07′.

We live in such a superficial world. Come on…it’s true. Almost everyone wants to look or be like someone they saw in a magazine. Even some older women are going to great lengths to find the best anti wrinkle cream in the world just so they can look young as if they were in their 20s.

Just look at a bunch of the older celebrity women out there. You got Janice Dickinson who is just screaming plastic surgery, botox, and other superficial procedures just to make her look young. Then there’s Madonna. She tries too hard to look like a younger celebrities out there.

Come on…you’re suppose to embrace yourself as you get older, not want to look like something you’re not.

Azores, Portugal

I swear all we talk about around my house is going on vacation. I just saw this commercial about Azores, Portugal where my parents are from and I mentioned to my dad how I wanted to go see it. So we ended up having a whole conversation about where they grow up, etc.

It was really nice. I only wish I had a private jet charter so I could go anytime I like. But hopefully we’ll go there soon as I’d love to go with my parents so they can point out places they grew up, their old houses, and see some of their family that are still living there.

There are many things I want to accomplish in my life and then there are some that I want to do this summer. I would absolutely love to go camping. I’ve never been camping in my life so I’m sure it would be a nice experience.

Plus, I would love to rent a condo or some sort of cottage where I can just relax and be at peace for awhile. Actually, I’ll probably have to look for some nice Hilton Head rental. They have gorgeous places too!!

Man…summertime is on my mind 24/7 now. I’m so excited and can’t wait!! Plus my nephew will be older as well!! Awww I can’t wait to see him crawling and what not.
